You know how it goes. You train harder than ever and expect the results to show. To your dismay, every race3 you feel slower and slower. “Why can’t I improve?” you ask yourself. You remember how fast you were last year and want more than anything to be back to that point. you’ve heard coaches, friends and parents tell you time and time again, “oh don’t’ worry, it’s just a phase. You’ll be back in no time!” But at this point, it just seems worthless. While you may be tempted to just give up and quit, please don’t’! you haven’t come this far to quit over a tough season. Your training is not useless, and one tough season/year does NOT define your potential.
